    SJTU LEC International Summer School Program Launched

    I. Introduction

    The International Summer School (ISS in abbreviation) of Lifelong Education College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU in abbreviation) is mainly designed for SJTU students, and students from international universities. Launched in 2017, ISS aims at enriching students’ summer experience by integrating high-quality teaching resources of top universities during vacation time. In the ISS, students can experience various academic environment offered by different world-class universities.

    Each year, during winter and summer vacation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University always warmly welcome professors and students from all over the world to join the summer school, to meet and know each other and to create wonderful and unique memories at SJTU.

    * Fee-paying (non-exchange) program held by Lifelong Education College, SJTU.

    II. Course Time

    December 18, 2023 to January 5, 2024 (3 weeks)

    III.  Eligibility

    1. SJTU students, students from international universities
    2. Chinese citizens or non-Chinese citizens

    3. Students who are physically and mentally healthy

    IV. Curriculum

    All the courses are designed to teach in-person and online with a small class size, covering the field of Economics, Business, Social Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences, etc.  Students are allowed to take 1-3 courses in each session.

    *In Person & Online Session: If students wish to mainly join the in-person program but take one or more courses online, they could choose both In-person and Online Session. However, only one course format can be chosen for each course.

    V. Application Procedures

    1. Register at https://summercourse.sce.sjtu.edu.cn A notice will be sent to your email box.

    2. Login and complete the on-line application, and submit after confirmation.

    3. Pay full tuition fees, and upload your payment proof.

    4. SJTU LEC Summer School will authorize you to select course after receiving your payment proof in three working days.

    *The above-mentioned tuition fees include tuition, registration fee, fees for the school-organized events, cost for sending one hard copy of the transcript, excluding food, accommodation, transportation, transcript evaluation and other expenses which may occur during or after the program.

    *Due to the exchange rate fluctuations, SJTU LEC reserves the right to modify tuition based on RMB.

    *The minimum size of each course is 11 students. If the number cannot be reached, the course will be cancelled and the fees will be refunded.
